Roller‌ ‌shades,‌ ‌or roller blinds, are one of the most popular types of window treatments, and for good reason. They are available in a wide selection of fabrics, colors, patterns, and options, making them the perfect fit for any room. There are three main types of roller shades.

Light Filtering: Light filtering fabrics diffuse light, creating a warm glow when natural light is brought into‌ ‌the‌ ‌room.

Blackout: Blackout roller shades block out most of the natural light coming into the room, making them the perfect choice for bedrooms, nurseries and children’s rooms, as well as‌ ‌media‌ ‌rooms.

Room Darkening: Room darkening fabrics are somewhere between light filtering and blackout fabrics. There is some light let into the room, but far less ‌than‌ ‌light‌ ‌filtering‌ ‌fabrics.
